7,000 BCE. First introduced to Britain in 1548, Cayenne has a long history of use as a folk medicine. It was an official ingredient in the British pharmacopoeia
until well into the 1950’s where it was used as a component in many cure-all remedies.

How Do I Take It?
Cayenne Tincture can be added to water or fruit juice. Serving: 2-3ml taken 2-3 times per day or as directed by a Herbal practitioner. 20 drops from the
glass dropper equals approximately 1ml.

Quality and Manufacture
After picking, drying, selection and testing the Capsicum Frutescens fruits undergo a process of cold percolation in order to extract the active constituents
into tincture form. The cold percolation method employs a gradient circulation of the solution which keeps the plant ingredients in perpetual contact with the ethanol.
This technique is faster and more efficient than maceration and ensures there is less waste of precious plant materials.
